At Zero Diagnostic, our Zero Diagnostic policy provides a free initial diagnostic with any appliance repair. This allows us to evaluate the issue and recommend the best solution.
We will notify you of any additional fees in advance. These may apply for removing appliances, parking challenges, or tight work spaces. Any extra fees cover specialized service needs separate from the free diagnostic.
Our goal is outstanding service and transparency. We aim to deliver quality work while keeping costs reasonable.
Service rates are not based on the time a technician spends in the home. Operating a service organization involves a tremendous amount of costs that are unseen by the customer yet are vitally necessary to perform prompt and efficient service.
Examples of these costs are technician training costly test equipment, office personnel, rent, parts inventory and many others. You are not hiring a technician, but an entire company resulting in the best, most efficient service in the industry.
We stand by the quality of our work, which is why we offer a comprehensive warranty up to 1 year on parts and 3 months on related labor, tailored to your specific appliance and situation. Our promise is simple: if the appliance we’ve repaired experiences any malfunctions related to our original repair within the next 30 days, we’ll return to your location at no additional cost. We will thoroughly diagnose and address the issue. If it is linked to our initial repair, we’ll fix it free of charge. If the problem stems from a different source, we’ll approach the repair as if we had identified both issues initially, pricing it accordingly. This means you won’t pay more than you would have if we had initially diagnosed both problems during our first visit.
Important Notice: Charges Apply for Unrelated Issues
Please note that if your appliance develops a problem unrelated to the one we previously repaired, a separate repair charge will apply. Service call and diagnostic remain free of charge with any repair. Feel free to call us anytime!
For all parts installed by Zero Diagnostic, we guarantee their satisfactory performance under normal usage conditions.
In the event that any part should fail to function correctly, our warranty coverage is as follows:
• Single Family Dwellings (single-family use): Up to 1 year on parts and up to 90 days on related labor.
• Commercial use (including rental properties) and all other uses: 30 days on parts and related labor.
Our warranty does not cover certain items, including water filters, cosmetic parts, or non-functional components such as glass cooktops, glass, trim, knobs, panels, racks, tanks, tubs, baskets, structural parts, doors, door liners, shelves, etc. Any parts installed while still under the manufacturer’s warranty or service agreement carry no additional warranty after the manufacturer’s coverage expires. Repairs necessitated by other defective parts will incur separate charges and are not covered by this limited warranty. Zero Diagnostic assumes no responsibility for losses such as food spoilage, damaged clothing, furniture, moldings, or flooring during appliance service or movement.
Our warranty is applicable only during normal working hours, with additional charges for service outside of these hours. Replacement parts will share the same expiration date as the originally replaced part once the original warranty expires.
Zero Diagnostic reserves the right to cancel the warranty if a balance remains unpaid after 30 days or if a customer’s check is returned by their bank. Automatic cancellation will occur if an account is placed in collections. To ensure the validity of the warranty, the customer’s signature on the invoice is required.
We do not offer warranties on parts purchased from sources other than Zero Diagnostic, nor do we cover maintenance or cleaning work.
